Assistant Coach: Jessica Lynch-Kucel

Jessica Lynch-Kucel is returning to coach the HCCC volleyball team for her 2nd season.  Lynch-Kucel is a 4th year returning official for Section III.  In 2006, she began coaching for Caroga Lake Volleyball Club under direction of Jim Gabeler.  Caroga Lake is one of the premier clubs in the CNY area.  Lynch-Kucel attends coaching clinics as often as possible to stay current on the newest coaching techniques and info.

Lynch-Kucel is the founder and co-director of Gateway Volleyball Alliance, a non-profit sports organization which was established in spring 2007. Gateway was created as a means to provide financial assistance to promising young athletes in the local area. Since 2000, Lynch-Kucel has been actively involved on several fundraising committees, program development and grant writing.

Lynch-Kucel is a 1997 graduate of HCCC (A.S. in Liberal Arts) and a 1999 graduate of Hartwick College (B.A. in English). She resides in Oppenhiem with her husband Ron, son Liam and daughter Lila.
