Belle named All-American
Lauren Belle was named a 1st Team All-American by the NJCAA, becoming the first-ever Lady General Lacrosse player to be honored with this prestigious award. Belle helped lead HCCC to a 3-5 record in their inaugural season and a birth in the Region III playoffs.
Ostrander and Francis named to All-Tournament Team
Brandi Ostrander and Kayla Francis were named to the Region III All-Tournament Team during the Region III playoffs at Morrisville State. The pair helped lead HCCC into the playoffs as the #4 seed, where they fell to eventual Region III Champion, Cayuga Community College.
Gerhardt and Belle named All-Region
Stepheney Gerhardt and Lauren Belle were recently named First Team All-Region by the Region III women's lacrosse coaches association. The duo led HCCC to a 3-5 record and a birth in the Region III playoffs in teams inaugural season. Named to the Second team were; Brittany Fiorini, Morgan Richards and Della Baker.
Women's Lax to Debut on HCCC Campus
April 7, 2004 will mark the dawn of a new era on the campus of HCCC as women's lacrosse will take the field vs. Cayuga Community College. The Lady Laxers under the direction of longtime men's coach Paul Wehrum will play an 8 game schedule during their inaugural season. The top 4 teams in Region III will advance to the Regional Tournament at Morrisville State with the champion and runner-up earning bids to the NJCAA National Tournament at Finger Lakes Community College
