Assistant Coach: Hank Testa

Hank Testa has been an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team since 2004. Before joining the basketball staff, Testa was the head baseball coach for 10 years, earning Region III and Mountain Valley Coach of the Year in 2000. He previously coached at Whitesboro High School for two years. 

Coach Testa has been an assistant professor of accounting at Herkimer for 19 years. He was Business Division Chairman at HCCC for 10 years and Curriculum Evaluator for the State University of New York, Bureau of Proprietary Schools, for 20 years. Coach Testa lives in Ilion with his wife Donna, who is a professor of health services management at HCCC.  He has three daughters and two granddaughters who live in Orange County, California.
